HOMECOMING BY CYTHIA VOIGT (SUMMARY)

In the book  Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt ,four kids go on a journey of  a life time  filled with suspense on every corner. Abandoned by there mom with little food,money  and clothing Dicey the oldest child has to watch siblings and lead them  thousands of miles   to their  aunts  house. On their way  to their aunts they make several new friends and find various ways to make money . When they finally reach their aunts they realized there aunt has recently passed away  and her daughter(Eunice) will willing take them in but only if she gets to  split them up to different families within the town.The kids are told they have a long lost grandmother and after this the children find out that Eunice wants to split them up . Once again the kids are on the move in search of their grandma. On their way they run into some rich kids who gives them a lift to the other side of the lake in there yacht. From there the kids try to find a way to make money by working for a farmer. The kids notice something isnt right with the farmer and make a run for it. A few days later they find a circus and  use it as a hiding stop away from the famer. The farmer finds them but the circus people scare  him off and takes the children in.The circus people lead the children to their grandmothers and from their they are on there own .Even though their grandmother has her issue in the end she takes them in and they live happpy for ever .
